1.) small bottle of nitrous oxide
2.) purge kit
3.) RC car glow plug

I have seen a setup using these three things set up just left of the exhaust. The guy, a wiring god, wired it somehow to burn after a high rev. Spent less than 100 bucks.

non flammable gas.. you'd STILL need fuel added to it for it to "burn"

Well it worked, I just thought it was neat that he used a 1.5 volt RC car glow plug. Otherwise I had no idea nor care to how the hell it worked.

Isn't oxygen considered a fuel, not too overwhelming intelligent when it comes to chemistry but I thought adding oxygen would make no2 flammable.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitrous_oxide

N2O is an oxidizer. At higher temperatures it breaks down and gives up it's oxygen atoms. By providing more oxygen, more fuel can be burned, providing more energy or power. I can see how N2O can add to the flames at the exhaust, but it would have to be added after the engine.

The theory seems to work but I don't wont to complicate the setup with nos. I prefer if it worked with spark plugs in the exhaust!

What about rev limiting the engine from the ecu temporary for show? My friend tried it on a kawazaki motor and done about 10min machine gun fire lol!
