We're just going for an efficiency apartment (studio, 1 BR, etc.). I've found a few close to the beach at around 350-500 per month, some even include utilities.

I pay $350/month for a 2BR here, plus my utilities are usually around $150-$200.

Eh, the one I live in now is $350 a month but I'm the second tenant in it, it's all pretty much brand new with hardwood floors in the kitchen, it's really nice.

And most of the one's for rent on/by the beach are simply because nobody is vacationing right now, not because they're dirty.
