March 1, 2009 Drift Demo Houston

It was a blast! If you were thinking about making it to one of the events this was the one to make it to. After it was all over was the real adventure. We had cleaned up the event site and were headed back to the NST shop and about 5 miles away the truck that was hauling the trailer with the barracades rear wheel fell off! Cody and Will showed up to take the barracades back to the shop. When we got that messed figured out and cleaned up we all started our cars and one of the guy's (Aaron) cars was dead. Mike and I headed back to the shop to pick up one of those bad a$$ little braille batteries. Well the battery was not made for a side mount terminal. Then the same tow truck driver that hauled off the first truck showed up and towed him off the highway and gave him a jump. I didn't leave for my 3 and a half hour journey back home till 1 a.m. I made it home at 4:30 a.m. and still made it to work on time at 7 a.m. If I knew how late I was going to be home that night I would still do it.

Needless to say, I meet A LOT of people in my line of work. I have to say it... lilredrocket is one of the coolest dudes I have met. Drives all the way from Dallas (4 hour drive) to hang out with us at NST meets.

And we have at least a dozen other members that are less than an hour drive from us that never show up.

This guy is AWESOME...
