Anyone try the RainX that you put into your windshield wiper fluid tank? How well does that work?

You probably ought to qualify your question with your location. In Las Vegas we get maybe 3" of rain a year. We are currently running very dry. Buy some wipes and stash them in a cool place. I redo mine every 4 months, especially if a strong soap is used to wash windows. It's more likely that when it does rain here your wipers will be shot, UV with 300+ days of sunshine fries them very quickly. Worry about UV damage first. IMNSHO

it works great, just like regular hand-buffed rain-x

BUT it leaves streaks where the drips roll off on the side windows, so you just have to wash those off if you care
