I'm the youngest?? I don't believe it!

Something I'm a little confused by that my dad said he found out from a dealer (but none of the dealers I emailed told me)

I thought I could get the 1,000 rebate and still use their financing (just not at the discount) if I can't get a better deal at a bank.

But supposedly, you can only get the 1,000 rebate if you're paying the whole price in full right away and won't be using a loan.

We're actually going to the dealer that quoted me the cheapest price today *just to talk*- I won't even have down payment money until my next paycheck so they can't sucker us in today.

Oh also, my dad sold my car for $700 to someone for parts... they are taking it before the end of the month.. its coming so soon! And guh, I kind of feel bad for my current ride =( I will miss it. I started calling it Two-Face. One side looks perfect, but the other side looks totaled. As the saying goes- It was a p-o-s.. but it was my p-o-s.. i will miss it!

You're not alone! A couple of us around here (I won't name names ) are still attached to their old cars

It's fun to get a new car, though. You'll have new experiences with it and you'll get attached to it, too. And there is that new car smell... Plus, the Yaris is clearly the best looking car in any parking lot, so it makes it all worth it, well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Do'nt forget we want pictures!

dont think it matters where you get the loan or how you are paying for it. you can apply the rebate toward the car or they give you a form to fill out and sign and send in and the rebate check comes directly to you.
