Who, me?
My first car was a BMW 318ti, which is a hatchback! Its manual transmission, even at 140,000 miles was smooth as silk. It had a bunch of problems, like a sick old man, but just like that old man, there's someone out there that loves him despite their problems. That's how I felt about that car, especially now that I look back to those days. I currently lease an Altima and I am just about to pull the trigger on a Yaris. Never grew an attachment to the Nissan; it's a very impersonal car.

I can tell (and so can you, patient readers) that I'm never going to "love" this car; we won't be going the whole way together. I'd almost like to buy back my Swift (I know where it is), but I will for sure be on the lookout for other small cars as they come on the market. Just too many irritations with Yaris.

I think you should get it back. I'm serious. How many miles did you put on your Yaris? If you have driven her more than a couple of tanks worth of gas and you're still not happy with her, then, take the $ hit and get back the car you love. What's the point of keeping the Yaris if it's going to give you nothing but grief? Life is too short.
