That's a good plan....even better if you actually owe money. A guy I work with signed his cell # up on one of those national Do Not Call lists, and actually got more calls and spam texts afterwards.

Woah, really? I signed up and get no telemarketers at all.. Only debt collectors... Which yes... I owe money... Lots of money I believe.. Bleeh... They call me about 5 times a day.. all hours of the day....

I think he did it mainly to get rid of a bunch of spam texts, and not sure if he used the right sight, but he got a message saying "text (something) to this number to confirm". Which he did, and that was probably the hook that screwed him.

Yeah, that's probably it. If you text things that are on T.V. that gets you big time as well.. Or if your number is on the interweb.
