would the TRD CAI fit over the TB opening or would i have to "Lip" it?

you need a flared silicone rubber adapter

I have the AFE intake. Mine just went right over the TB, of course it took a lil muscle but it's on there, snug fit didn't even have to tight the clamp too much.

I was not able to do this at all with the OEM hose + Simota SRI. Did you get the hose wet in order to make it more flexible?

No water or anything. Just used my guns

. But really yhtough the coupler on the AFE intake is flexible a lot more than the oem tube
