would the TRD CAI fit over the TB opening or would i have to "Lip" it?

you need a flared silicone rubber adapter

I have the AFE intake. Mine just went right over the TB, of course it took a lil muscle but it's on there, snug fit didn't even have to tight the clamp too much.

I was not able to do this at all with the OEM hose + Simota SRI. Did you get the hose wet in order to make it more flexible?

No water or anything. Just used my guns. But really yhtough the coupler on the AFE intake is flexible a lot more than the oem tube
