what is an actuator? is it aftermarket power locks?

its basically a little piston that can push/pull and object. Generally you have to use two relays with them to make them work... You hit the button and 1 relay engages and you get a push... Hit the button a 2nd time and the other relay engages and you get a pull....and so on.
they are used for all sorts of things, auto locks being the most common, but also on stereo installs for amp racks. |
