Can anyone recommend a decent place to stay down there? I don't want to spend too terribly much ($100 or less). Clean and in a halfways decent area would be great. It doesn't have to be super close either. However, from up here (and having never been downtown Long Beach I got nothin').

I was going to suggest just staying at the Queen Mary but it's Mother's day so the rates are higher than usual...

This site (http://www.downtownlongbeachhotels.com/) has the hotels on downtown but they're not gonna be cheap since downtown is pretty nice... I'm from LB and I can say this is one of the better parts of town
