Good times, good times...

Well Vista's OK now, got used to it... though my laptop's due for a reinstall, it's gotten sluggish... and I just downloaded that new Windows 7 RC1... hmmmmm...

I've been running it in Parallels for a while now with 1 processor and 1G of RAM assigned to it, and it's been pretty stable for me, I may actually be putting it on my Boot Camp partition when rc2 comes out (July, I think, is the target date for that).

and for the minimum system requirements (I think someone asked):

* 1 GHz processor (32- or 64-bit)
* 1 GB of RAM (32-bit); 2 GB of RAM (64-bit)
* 16 GB of available disk space (32-bit); 20 GB of avaiable disk space (64-bit)
* DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

And lastly, if you wanted to upgrade directly from WinXP to Win7, you're SOL

Kinda what I'd expected, but sad. I have some apps that I no longer have the install packages for (not pirated, just lost)
