I take it you guys don't have power locks? I never have to use the key for my hatch as it unlocks with the other doors

And to add some use to this post - as Bailout said - use a dry lubricant like graphite on any key lock.

I do but last winter even that stopped working. The problem was the same as ever- dirt trapped in the keyhole. Cleaned that up and remote locking started working again. I'm thinking of putting a cover on the keyhole to keep it clean seeing that I never use the key anyway.
