timing chain does not need to be replaced at 160K
the chain should last the life of the engine providing you are using a quality synthetic BELTS however do need to be changed the Yaris does not have a timing belt

I like learning new stuff. Went back and reread the owners manual and timing chain has no replacement interval, dont know where i got that 160kreplacement figure but i suspect it might have been something the salesman said when i bought the car.
