Thanks again for the information, guys. YarisWorld has always been a great place to share info about these terrific little cars.
My local dealer (from whom I've bought several Toyota's) appears to have changed some of its business practices for the worse. I've always admired my dealer, but the expense of building a new facility may have sharpened his need for profit. The parts department at this dealer, for example, is now being run by the dealer's son, who doesn't really seem to care about customer service. Frankly, I don't think the son tells the truth - it was he that told me that there are different mud guards for the 3-door vs. the 5-door. I would complain to the dealer (the dad) about this situation, but I doubt he would admonish his kid. Looks like I'm a new Sparks customer for parts/accessories...
