It's a Canon SD1100IS 8 MP pocket/point and shoot camera. It was $199 when I bought it, it's a bit cheaper now I think. It's a pretty decent little camera, yep.

As for the gaps, anyone else have a suggestion?

EDIT: Ah I didn't see the above reply before I replied. I am at work but I will try that when I get home..I don't have a jack other than the one included with the car from Toyota. I can just lift up one side at a time, yea?
