Sent you a PM.

Spare tire box..... ever played with fiberglass? If not... well its a pain the first few times you do it. I love glass, not that great with it, but use it as much as I can. The biggest issue is finding a sub that'll work well in that small area. Gotta get a general idea of how much airspace you will have to work with first.

That's what I was thinking. I haven't seen anything with power that would work in some of the spare tire boxes. Maybe for a quiet sq setup, but still, that thing looks like is 0.1 or 0.2 cu ft.

If you're interested, I can give you the contact info. for the guy that made me the spare tire sub. box. His boxes only work w/ Pioneer shallow mount subs. though. He can make them for 8" or 10" Pioneer shallow mounts.

Mine sounds pretty good. It doesn't shake or rattle my interior panels or windows and it's not annoying like those that can be heard from blocks away (unless I turn the base up on the head unit). One of his local Toyota dealer now has these spare tire subs. as a dealer added option on the Yarii they sell.

This is the sub. I got:

Pioneer recommends a box w/ a volume of 0.35 - 0.7 cubic feet. The spare tire box is around .4 cubic feet.
