No real point in disabling it for the street though. It is no fun driving around on D shaped tires.

I locked the front wheels once in the Yaris (non ABS car) and flatspotted the front tires in a panic brake situation from 90 to about 30. It put a bad flat spot on the fronts.

Luckily I needed new tires anyway.
