Question

i got a set of these for free from a friend. they have some minor nics and chips in them. going farther than just the paint, but no cracks. Is there any harm in installing them or do they have to be 100% perfectly balanced?

my friend is a toyota mechanic and he was replacing a blown motor on a toyota yaris and they sourced a motor from a salvage yard. the motor they brought into the shop had these pulleys on it and they installed the motor into the customers car without the pulleys.

my friend whom is a toyota mechanic didn't seem to think there would be any problem with the scrapes and scuffs, but i'm just getting a second opinion.

sorry for all the typos. i'm writing this from a terminal server session and all the stupid animated gifs on the side slow down my session to a crawl.

Please post a pic and I will be happy to give you my opinion

Anything else would be speculation and may or may not apply to your individual case.
