When on the road to San Antonio, the passenger side was skipping horribly. Stopped at an Auto Zone and found that you can get away with 15" Rain-X blades. Not really a noticeable difference from the 14" blades (as far as size) and they don't hit the edge of the windshield.

Just throwing it out there.

I got some OEM ones from Part Source, all three (including the rear) was about $50. The rear one is actually really easy to replace, you just have to pry off the plastic at the very bottom of the wiper arm.

I bought mine at the dealership parts store for $2 for the pair ( they had to look up the stock numbers) with a $7 castrol oil change discount check, had them on in under 5 minutes, and will toss them when they cease to function properly. It really is that simple.

Here are the parts numbers and barcodes from the wiper inserts that I purchased at my local Toyota dealer for my 3dr., perhaps they will be of use to someone on this thread the red on is the large blade the white on the small one:

(Too many wiper blade strings on this site but here we go again...)

OK...here's the ticket: The Toyota Yaris' 14" passenger side replacement windshield wiper is very hard to find in the newer-style beam blades. The 12" rear is also very hard to find because its a special rear blade that fits the special rear arm.

After exhaustive research, I've only found one aftermarket set-up that works: 'Trico NeoForm Beam Blades' on the front (yes, they have a 14") and 'Trico Exact Fit Rear Integral Blade' on the rear. All of the above come with step-by-step, illustrated removal and replacement instructions - easy install. Got the whole set-up online.

As a follow-up to my post above, I just got an email from wipers123.com and there's a $15 rebate on NeoForms (including the 14") through 5/15/10. They also sent me an additional $5 instant coupon "springreturningcustomer" (orders over $30) not sure when it expires... I'm not ready to replace mine yet so take it if you want it!

bought my Yaris in May 2007 and my front OEM wipers gone in 2 months..:)
I quickly replaced them with Bosch and also replaced the fluid cleaner with Rain-X.

3 winters after, front wipers still hold strong and never skip since adding the Rain-X

The rear, it still with OEM but the blade broke 2 weeks ago. so, that will be replace soon.

before the yaris,
since late 90s I use Bosch wiper and Rain-X fluid on my other cars too.
especially for the Rain-X, 10 yrs living in snow area gave me no choice but to use their product.
back then,
heavy rain and frozen windshield are no fun at all but Rain-X help ease the headache.

Instead of using 26" drivers and 14" passenger, can I use 24" and 16". That is substracting 2 and adding 2. and this will avoid them hitting over each other at the bottom. But will cover less on the top while ON.

Just can't find the 14". And have a really nice offer. Buy one get one free on Goodyear wiper blades.

15 inch blades work just fine on the passenger side. Simple fix.
