I had to pull my rear wheels off to install mine. My wheels are 16x7's and I couldn't get the bar into place with them on.
I definitely agree with the huge handling improvement with the bar. I also installed the Ultra Racing strut tower bar, but I waited a couple of days between the two to see if I could notice a difference. For me, there's not a noticeable difference with the strut tower bar on, but maybe if I installed it before the sway bar it would have been more obvious. |

Rear for having to pull the wheels. I probably could have slid it into one wheel and then got it into place, but I didn't want to ding up the wheels with the bar or the wrench. My wheels are 16x7 +45 by the way.
I installed the front UR strut tower bar without removing the front wheels and without removing the wiper cowling. I jacked the front up and put it on jack stands and that gave me enough clearance to see to get the bolts up. On top, I found that I could get the socket on the passenger side with no problem and on the driver side I just had to flex the cowling up about 1/4" to get the socket on. |
