I concur.

It's a bulk email out to their customers (and probably non-customers) to try and offload their Blitz stock and make some cash. If people think the manufacturer is not going to be around they are more apt to buy stuff they want now before it disappears.

Whoever this reseller is just wanted to use this scare tactic so people can scoop up all the Blitz product that they are "stuck with" LOL
