I'm getting coilovers which will slightly raise my car (for rallying). Anything can be made if you go custom instead of big name off the shelf crap.

Yes I know where you are coming from. I'm paying more for one front strut than you guys pay for a complete set of fronts and rears.
If the shock bodies have similar overall extended and compressed lengths, then the addition of some helper springs, or even change the springs entirely for longer ones, will allow you to keep the same ride height. The problem with aftermarket coilovers in Australia is that most of them have shorter bodies than the stock shocks and when you jack them right up to get the ride height you want, you run out of droop travel and the springs become un-entrapped. |
