no, you're right, it's not that tedious but, i just think so much back and forth went on while setting it all up; about pics having a big imact on voting (or not), who votes (or no voting), etc etc etc, that it just burned it a little before it even got started...

in order to submit i'd have to wash my car (i do this often anyway, granted, but need a wash now), i'd have to snap new pics to make sure i'm not using the same ones i have in my garage (which don't show off my B-awesome short antenna that Jeff gave me lmao jk) and then i'd have to fill out the questionaire...again, not that tedious but, more than i'm making time to do right now lol...

i think this is why Garm and I were so much in favor of a simple system with no voting, just to keep it fun and put a little extra attention on different members each month...don't want to be a negative nancy (lame ass cliche that's so funny to me LOL) but, i think (based on the lack of submissions) that most people are kinda 'eh' about the whole thing...

don't want to speak for anyone except for myself tho

I hear you loud and clear and don't disagree with you but I think people stopped paying attention mostly because of the timing of this thing and got distracted with all the other stuff going on in the forum, but it's probably time we get it back on track.

Wait a minute.. sh*%t!!! I think we commented in the wrong thread!!! Arrghhhh!!! I think you're right, the current system isn't all that user friendly.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here so let me check with the mods and the posters who started the thread and see if they're OK with a simpler system, like 1 sticky thread with a poll on top or something like that so people don't have to scratch their heads and wonder what thread to vote in or comment in whatever.
