As the problem is, not enough of the hole is revealed to insert the pin, the soulution was to taper the end of the pin with a file to get it started.
However, this did not work and I still can't get it installed.

I might wind up modifying the SS with my dremel.

BTW, the cause if this is, athough the SS is a precision machined part, the shift arm and pin isn't and can vary is size sometimes.

Are you 100% sure on that

You and me seem to be the only people with this issue and we both have the piggies kit.

I had the same problem too. Took a couple of swipes with the dremel on the piggy and all was well. I thought it was strange but figured I bought cheap and had to throw in some of my labor to make it work. Been running it since feb '09 with no problems since install.
