lol no one else seemed to have a problem answering the question :-D
what are some ways to remove excess weight without taking the back seat out? i def. don't wanna do that just because i have more than one passenger alot... and how much would the intake run me total? is it worth the money for what your going to get out of it? and is there an impact on mpg? |

Remove the sound system...all the wiring, the HU, and all of the speakers. For LB's, remove the rear window wiper and all of the things associated with it, wiring, motor, fluid reservoir, etc.

I'm too lazy to pick up my stock head unit again and feel what it weighs, but I'm guessing with everything you're not even saving 10 lbs. If you're willing to sacrifice tunes for 1/100th of a second on the 1/4 you bought the wrong car. Get a nice system, and have a quick release for the amp and sub(the only heavy things involved in most systems).

2)Swap your battery for an ultralight battery (Odyssey, Braille) 3)Change to the lightest tire/wheel combo you can find/afford (rotating mass). 4)Never fill tank more than half-way. (except on road trips) |
