Nice to see you back on the board.

It's my wife and I's 5th anniversary today, I got my wife an etirnity ring (yeah yeah i know "etirnity" sounds like a long time) and she got me.................................

A Blu Ray Player!

Just finshed watching Cars on the Blu Ray. Blu Ray FTW!

nice job on the anniversary present. Blu Ray in my eyes, still hasn't caught on over here. maybe I'm just not looking in the right area or hearing the right things.

I have a full hi def 1080 tv and I swear the picture quality difference between DVD and Blu Ray is like the difference between VHS and DVD. It is a huge leap.......

The quality you get is better than at the cinema.

The Blu Ray players also "upscale" DVD's to make them better quality.

Have a read of the unit I got http://www.cnet.com.au/five-of-the-b...-339285307.htm

It was $391 in their catalog, but I did some research first and found it at another store for $299 and they matched that price.
