it that it will destroy the transmission and possibly the
electric steering motor....if you tow it like that.

but I am funny that way....

well, the thing is.. neutral in an automatic is the same thing as neutral in a manual transmission.. it runs freely.

The thing with the user manual, i believe their think we're dumb enough to leave it on park..

Not exactly. Automatics have a viscous fluid connection between driveshaft and engine that requires trans fluid to be circulating for lubrication and cooling. So if your engine is off and you are in neutral and rolling, you are going to evenually burn up your trans and have a problem.

When the manual yaris is in neutral there is no direct connection you are good to go.
