Not exactly. Automatics have a viscous fluid connection between driveshaft and engine that requires trans fluid to be circulating for lubrication and cooling. So if your engine is off and you are in neutral and rolling, you are going to evenually burn up your trans and have a problem. When the manual yaris is in neutral there is no direct connection you are good to go. |
