Aluminum is softer than steel. (less tensile stregnth)To be as strong al wheels must be thicker than equally strong steel wheels. But that doesnt cure the softness. They ARE lighter which is good. You pay the price for that $$$ when you dammage them.

That is true. But then once you have a thicker stronger aluminum wheel it weighs just as much as not more than your factory steel wheel lol. Theres almost no point then. So always a trade off. Thats what makes me scared looking at those konig helums how strong can those really be being as light as they are and as thin as the spokes are.
