Lame.

I hate Minnesota and it's craptastic highways, and lack of road work (yet, they keep raising my taxes for 'roads & bridges' ... suuuure).

Thankfully, my wheels are still being produced so I will be ordering that on Friday (payday). It's at the shop now sitting in the parking lot until I can get an allen wrech big enough to fit (it has a combo of the locking lugs and the allen wrench) to get my 17"s off and throw my steelies back on.

I just needed to vent to someone who would understand the pain and frustration I am feeling right now.

I am just glad it was only the wheel, not any other part of the car becuase it was a BAD pothole. It could have been worse and I'm glad it's not - but I still just want to bitch about it.

Hey there, sorry about the bad luck. At least you get to replace yours. I wanted to buy a replacement aftermarket alloy once upon a time - except that they made a "revision" to the model that looked almost nothing like the retail version I had purchased. I ended up tossing six-hundred dollars worth of rims in the trash.

Oh no!! Just so you know in case it happens in the future - there ARE places that fix rims; it is usually like $150 +/- a wheel, but there are places that fix them. I have two places here locally that do it but I just don't want to go that option because a brand new wheel w/ a tire is only going to cost me $178 shipped to my door so it's just makes me more sense to me to get a brand new wheel WITH a tire for the same price.

That's really sad though :( I'm sorry that happened!!
