In California, if it's not potholes, it's shredded truck tires, mattress', coolers, dead animals, wooden crates, boxes, furniture, car parts (saw a whole transmission in the middle of the freeway), whole wheels with tire, bumpers, fenders, you name it. I don't know how anyone can avoid hitting something. Sorry about your wheel.

LOL! Sad to say, but I totally agree! One time I saw a refrigerator on the 5 South freeway! Hahaha.

^Shoulda picked it up. Might still have a beer in it for you LOL

I almost wrecked today swerving around a steel ladder on the freeway. I see some people just don't know when to stop loading their car roofs/pick-ups

JBougie, did you find a replacement for your wheel yet?

Holy shit - I can honestly say I have never seen anything that crazy in the road before. lol That is like something from a video game!!

I did find a replacement, I am ordering another wheel from WheelFire.com where I bought the set, they still have them in stock so I'm good :) I have my steelies on now, which I need to have on for winter anyway - but here is a few pictures of the damage :

My brother moved to TX recently. Everywhere you go there are Mexicans driving pickup trucks with a huge pile of junk in the back stacked up precariously. It must be the same in CA. As a motorcycle rider I take note!
