Does it make the same sound if you take the e-brake and lift it up and down fast/all the way pretty much(dont force it).

If so its two things: Its an indicator to tell you your shoes may be worn down.

But most of all, your drums need to be cleaned, and the star wheel needs to be clicked about 3-11 times to adjust the spacing of the shoes against the drum.

Then the noise should go away, but remember you probably need new brake shoes as well.

Someone else may chime in on this.
