It may not have been paranormal. There may have been someone out there. Have you had other or similar experiences?

and depending on what their intentions were, your whole body may send you signals (terror, etc). This rush of adrenaline is what keeps us alive in the face of danger.

IMO our "intuition" is never wrong, if your whole body tells you something's wrong, then something's wrong (horror movies don't count lol)

But I'm with the poster above, maybe it really was someone or the shadow of someone.

Paranormal experiences are one thing, that was another. You had a bad guy hanging out in your driveway.

I've never looked at that possibility, but I don't believe that it was someone creeping around the house because the figure was taller than my mom's van. Yes I have had other paranormal stuff happen around me, especially up at my work place. I've tried to find logical explanations for the stuff at work and I have yet to find anything that fits or fully explains it

First a little background on my workplace. I work/ worked as security for a hospital. I say worked because the company I work for is laying off it's workers in a week. Along with providing normal security we also had to patrol the entire grounds, even the closed off part of the building. Basically this building is the old hospital and was closed when they built the new wing.

One of the experiences I can't explain is one time I was helping one of the staff look for some equipment that was believed to have been moved onto a floor in that building for storage. When we went up to the floor that this equipment was thought to be on we started searching hallway by hallway. By the time we were done with the first two hallways I could tell that the staff member was creeped out. When we started looking through the last hallway I pushed open the door to one of the rooms and found one of the old wall-mounted flashlights in one of the rooms, I picked it up to see if it would still work, it did so we used that to search the rest of hallway. It took us about two minutes to finish the search and when I went back to the room I realized the door was shut and I didn't remember shutting it. This door doesn't have a lock or a handle, so to open it all you have to do is push it open. So I pushed the door and it wouldn't open, I tried again and it still wouldn't budge. The staff person looks at me like I'm joking and I said I would try it again. I pushed on the door with my body and it felt like someone was on the other side of the door, blocking it. I tried it again and the door finally popped open, there wasn't anybody in the room and I started to get freaked out and I threw the flashlight back on the charger and we both left the floor quickly.
