Just because the laws exist it doesn't mean they are strictly enforced You should see some of the crazy stuff people do to their cars around here. Last weekend, driving back from LA I was behind this pick-up truck with a center exhaust pipe so big, I could have stuck my head in it, no kidding. CA license plate.

^^that makes me second guess my earlier comment a little. Houston roads suck. The closest thing to a hill climb that we have is the Sydney Sherman Bridge over the port

I always found it strange that most all of the aftermarket auto part creators and distributors are based in Cali but folks there cannot legally use the products so readily available to them. "intended for off-road us only"
