Something hard, edge of a metal railing, or tree strump.

Well the guy is a stump for doing such a thing. Thats just wrong. Karma has its ways to come at people either immediately or soon there-after.

Cat's aren't exactly smart. I killed my first one around a month ago. They enjoy running across streets and aiming for your tires, that's why they're found dead in the street.

As far as a cat doing that much damage to the car, that seems unlikely.

Most cats crossing a busy street will pick a time they think they can make it, then they just run like hell straight across, not looking at traffic. They're usually pretty predictable and avoidable if you're watching, but they're often run over.

I certainly wasn't aiming for it but there isn't much room to swerve on a two-lane road. Unfortunately my very wide tires didn't help its odds either.
