A lot of people, including dealerships will use "S" for Sedan. They don't know that there is actually a "Sport" version of this car. This is nothing new. I went to cars.com and did a search and come up with 7 pages of results. There were 4 ads for the Yaris S on the first page alone but none of them are a real "sport."

Probably just a simple mistake or they used pictures of a different car. No need to go Ebay Nazi on them. The price difference doesn't make a difference anyway.

When I called he said that they automatically pull info from the VIN and that the VIN said it was an "S" model, which apparently sometimes gets "inputted" by mistake...?

Most S's don't have fog's. Just like many don't have the alloy wheel package or rear spoiler. What primarily makes an S is the body kit.

As described in the post below, it's hardly "fraudulent". Search any used car listing site and half the Yaris's come up as "S's" and they aren't. Something's wrong with how the Yaris is identified.

Yeah it's kinda stupid since the Liftback also comes as an "S" model.

yeah, 99.9% of the cars come with bucket seats nowdays. Back in the 70's and 80's, most car came with a park style BENCH.

You might have confused with racing seats.
