After the test drive write down things that you like and dislike with the lift back and compare it to the things that you like and dislike with the sedan. After you test drive the lift back you may find that you like the ride quality of the sedan a lot better.
To OP: This is a very good idea. I'd say it's a safe assumption that you liked something about the sedan because you bought that over the LB originally. What's to say you won't change your mind again in the near future as your circumstances change? Kids is not the only reason for wanting access to the rear seats more easily. Friends, perhaps?

Weigh the pros and cons of both vehicles and how that applies to current and possible future circumstances in your life before putting yourself into a seriously bad financial situation. Unless you magically win the lottery, left a huge monetary gift from a deceased relative, or you obtain an extremely high paying job, it's really hard to get out of debt once you're there. I speak from experience. You take 2 steps forward, just to have something else pop up, causing you to take 3 steps back.

Hope this helps!!

I would have to highly disagree with you on this statement, RuffStuff. The LB is identifiable on the roadway or in a parking lot, whereas the sedan just blends in with the crowd (the only way I can tell it's a Yaris sedan is by seeing the badging on the ass).

I love my LB for it's uniqueness. It's obviously different from all the sedans on the road, but it's also very different from all other subcompact LB's on the road as well.

Really? I think the sedan also clearly stands out from the crowd... especially if the view you have of it includes the front end.

Anyway, I really like my sedan, but I also really like the hatchbacks... both the 3-door and 5-door. They're different, but they're similar enough that I agree with Toyota's decision to call them all "Yaris" here.

The sedan looks like nothing else on the road. It's closest styling comparison is the Corolla and Camry and even they look completely different never mind the size differences.

To the OP, I'd say keep the sedan. They're better.

If you have spare cash, and it seems that you do considering you're willing to trade at such a loss, use it for mods. Get a body kit and a nice set of wheels and a drop and throw on a rear spoiler. You'll be glad as hell that you bought a sedan.
