I'm not a Math major but buying the Yaris in the US and driving it back to Canada would save you at least $4000 on the car alone and probably $2000 on the parts and labor. I've heard of people doing this. Happens more the closer our dollar gets to parity. But I'm sure there are other issues (import duties, warranty claims, hassle, etc.) to take into account.

Meh... I sprung for the fully loaded 5-door RS back in 2005 before it even came out... $23k (CDN!) was my final sticker price. And I only had lowering springs! But I didn't buy it b/c it was cheap... I bought it because it was small and awesome!
