I have the AEM CAI and I must say my fuel economy didn't go down, it actually improved. Or to be correct, it stayed the same, but with much more aggressive driving. So if I were driving the same way I did before the mods, my fuel economy would be better than stock.

My theory is that since I have a better acceleration now, I can go into DFCO much faster, since I get to the speed limit quicker, so I have to lay off the gas...

Honestly, I'm getting consistent 33+ mpg with city driving. One time going to LA from San Jose I got 37 mpg on that tank, going 70+ mph most of the way down.
