foIf there is a big interst i might take pics and make a diy on my day off this thursday im curiouse how my own throttle body looks at 25k miles. Ill post a DIY on how to do seafoam treatment of intake manifold too.

Which some shops call fuel injuection or throttle body cleaning. Even though thats not entirely what it is.

Any specific cleaners? Is Carb Cleaner alcohol?

Yea the Sea Foam thing sounds cool... would you have to change the oil after that kind of treatment?

would love to see a step by step for the seafoam the intake manifold. I've only done the seafoam on old carburetor type engines. I was thinking i'd foam my yaris when I get in the neighborhood of 60,000 - 80,000 miles. At 42,000 right now.

Yea I would love to see a Sea-Foam DIY.

So when cleaning the Drive By Wire Throttle Body, is there a way to move the butterfly other than with your finger?

Also should you start the motor without the airbox in place like the old carburetors?

I took my air box off and had a hard time moving the butterfly so i could not clean my throttle body as good as i would like.
