I think it's Metra, but it does looks like it will fit a 1/2 DIN EQ there.

.
On our trip to NY... we also hit 100K miles! That is 160,000 Km

at 42 MPG = about 2,380 gallons of Fuel in 5 years

at $3.50 /gal = $8,333.33

in 5 years = $1,666.66 /year

in 12 month = $138.88 / month

in 30 days = $4.63 / day

not bad!

Derick,

Get me the shop name that put on this show. This is NOT how your first show experience should have ended up.

What basically appears to have happened is:

A non registered competitor comes in from out of state.

The shop charges him a registration fee for the privilege to be judged.

The judge tells the competitor that he won't win before all judging is over.

He leaves the show early to be able to get home early.

No score is given or shown.

...anyone else think this whole situation wreaks? I've already out a feeler in with the HAT team captain to get your score sheet mang. In the VERY least you deserve this. My thought is, they just used you for the entry fee and knew you weren't going to do anything about it.

I'm trying to be proactive for you D. This whole situation would not have happened at one of my shows. I would have lost sleep if I knew you hadn't received proper treatment.

Derick, even if this doesn't truly bother you, I want you to know...this is NOT the correct experience that should have happened my friend. You should have had very constructive criticism (good and/or bad) on what was going on. You should have had several new contacts gained from the show...

This is truly pitiful.

...and one of many reasons why I got out of the scene. Bad people doing unethical things. The entire industry is awash in that.

He payed to get judged and at this point services have not been rendered. What it sounds like is the business that hosted the show just did it for trophy's and to possibly push more product, idk what was said to Derick yet but i bet its something along " get more expensive equipment that they sell here ".

Derick you have a right to get a bit upset. It doesn't take this long to get a scoresheet unless one wasn't done. Then you deserve a partial refund.

Derick, what was the name of the judge who was judging your car?

I have interest, outside from us, in helping your situation.

I found the DIYMA thread...Let the games begin!

Yeah...they bring in enough to want to do another show.

This is also what my big gripe to Moe Sabourin was a year or so ago. I had him riding with me when Streamline put on it's first show. I suggested that all sound judging should be done blind folded and install should be done after sound judging has been completed (and by different judges).

There are so many biases out there that it is absolutely impossible to be completely objective when you know what you're listening to. I basically suggested a simplified version of a double blind test.

Lets see what happens, my story it's even more interesting now.

The idea of judging blind folded is excellent!!! makes a lot of sense.

I want to become a SQ judge!

I never posted D's name...what I did to was to take these knuckle draggers to task. There really is no excuse for not giving a score sheet within 24-48 hours of the event. They just don't like criticism. That's all.

Heck, even the HAT team captain told me I was right on with my comments.

Post the score sheet D!!!!

Let's discuss!

I'll start...Sir, you should have been placed in the Amateur class. Your up front sub is okay as long as it retains the OEM look. Especially at a little local show like that. Someone did you wrong by placing you into pro/am in your very first show.
