I'd go big and get the $15k car.
You'll never have the "I wish I'd gotten the..." blues. Also, crank windows+M/T means real crappy trade/sale value should you ever need or want to get something else.
It's only a little more in the payments over 60mo., plus they are doing 0% financing!
Good luck...

Please do not finance a car for 60 payments.... if your not in a bind for a car then wait till you can at least knock yourself to resonable 24 months if you MUST finance a vehicle (which is not usually a good idea). I live alone with no degree and ive cleared up 11k in debt and purchased an 08 LB Yarii. Now without a car payment i can do ANY mods i want, and yes they are comming soon. If anyone wants to know how to get your finances in order and enjoy your money instead of worrying if you have enough go check out a guy named Dave Ramsey. www.daveramsey.com

Seriously though, that quote sounds fair if its with TT&L have then itemize it all out and dont let them do the "four squares" sales tactics to show you a low "Payment" which will be for either 60 or 72 PAYMENTS!!!!

Why not? It's interest free!
I put down $6k and financed mine for 60mo. but had it paid off in 18mo. Worked a LOT of OT!
This way I had the option of paying it slowly should financial troubles or a layoff occur. I saved a lot on the interest too.

well you are an exception to the rule.... you basicaly did as i said and kept it under 24 months in the end..... but i would say a majority of people will not get 0%. The reason i dont personally finance anything even at 0% is because most people are upside down for that entire 60-72 months and if you write out for a 60 month payment system, most people will not pay it off earlier and REAL statistics have shown this too. I turned down a "decent" deal with a dealer because they refused to come down on price simply because i wasnt financing it. If i had financed it they were willing to "reduce" the price to what i wanted but i wont open an account and pay it off (this is bad for your credit). but once again i dont care what my credit score is other than it affecting my insurance premium. I only have 2 credit cards open because if i close them i screw over my insurance and at this point its not worth it. Other than those two i DO NOT BORROW MONEY. But to be honest being debt free and never worrying about going paycheck to paycheck comes only with self disipline and lots of planning. Again i live alone and i still have to plan out every dollar wether i want to or not because its the right thing to do, and its the reason why i put back quite a bit of money each month. But again to each his own. I'm just reminding people that you DONT have to have a carpayment. After my Yarii wreck it was a wakeup call that if i had not purchased GAP that i woulda been screwed. I even put 3k down and had TOYO rebate of 1500.
