Don't be silly. I said that being able to straddle road debris, and having a little extra ground clearance, outweighs any imagined advantages of being able to swerve a little harder. Even slightly taller than average parking curbs are a hazard to the bottom of the air dam as it is. It's foolish to lower the car any further.

Back in the 60s people argued that tail fins improved vehicle stability when the fact of the matter was that they were merely fashion statements. I'm seing the same kind of logic here.

If you care about avoiding road debris... don't sit your car on the ground. Maintain some ground clearance.
