Checkin' in. Type 1, diagnosed 2 weeks after my 16th birthday. It was
 but like any other case, had to learn to adapt to it.Was on shots/pens until 18 and a pump since then. I'm almost 24 now, so it's been nearly 10 years. Shudder to think of it. -SAV
