At this point throw some ears and bamboo on my car and its a resident of the washington zoo lol.
I thought it was storm trooper on american cars and panda on asian cars? Who knows. Its one of those things that probably has no real answer.

Guess I'm in the minority too, but I think it looks sick! Very well done, love the texture of the lip with that paint too. I think it matches with your car's style perfectly.

I *LOVE* it! I think it kicks ass! Much better for the panda look than the chrome :)

looks awesome.

black wheels with chrome lips are beyond played out, and never looked that good to begin with

Looks clean! Maybe you could paint the lugs white to match the lip. It will probably be a pita, but would look very original.

It looks good, but I wonder how hard it will be to keep that white looking clean when it's on your wheels.

Wheel painting is easy. Skip all the tape, etc, and hie yourelf to the local lumber store. Buy a strip of 6" wide flashing, use a couple of clothespins to hold the ends into a loop, fit it over the rim, and paint. Change the colour of your rims once a week if you like, it is that easy. With luck, the necessary pics will appear! First pic is a "lazy susan" bearing from the hardware/lumber store; second is the mask in place, third is the result. One can even paint the rim one colour and the hub another just by adjusting the flashing...
