epa numbers for the 07 were 36/40, but 08+ they went down to 29/35.... the 07 numbers are right on, but afterwards.... crap.

And by the way, talking about ford mpg... I'd believe it. They listed their v6mustang with 305hp at 30mpg, and epa certified it at 31mpg. Ford hasn't really been known to exaggerate alot of their numbers, usually low balling mpg/power/torque.

The EPA revised their mileage test procedure for all '08 models, not just the Yaris. They felt it better reflected "real world" mileage being reported by average drivers. I think it does. Have you looked around lately at how badly the average driver drives?

Well, it's better to say they quit doing it a long time ago. They used to buff up their numbers quite a bit, which is how Chevies came to dominate Fords in bracket racing back in the '60s-'70s.

I've had several Fords over the years and they have all proven to be very unreliable, think i'll stick with Toyota.
I also noticed that baby crap color is becoming popular as i've seen it on Kia's and Hyundai's
