I don't know, Mater.

Check Edmunds.com or some other site where you can get a car priced with options. They even show invoice price on Edmunds, so figure 98% of that minus $750, which is what you would pay according to what my salesman told me today. That's after this program gets started, though, not right at the moment. Hmmm, maybe it is already in effect but not being publicized yet. Why don't you try to find out? Let us all know.

One thing about the Edmunds.com invoice price is that it does NOT include ad fees. Ad fees vary by region, and that is why Edmunds does not include them, but they are really part of the dealer's cost. Ad fees are collected by the manufacturer from the dealerships to cover the cost of advertising.

For example, Edmunds says that the invoice price for the Corolla I was looking at ($19,005 sticker price) is $17,346, but my salesman showed me that the true invoice cost was $17,669. The difference is the ad fee.

I don't think that the 2011 is going to be any different than the 2010. I got a copy of the 2011 dealer model reference this week, and the model numbers and VDS are identical to 2010, which theoretically indicates no change from 2010.

Time will tell, CT.

I can only go by what they told me.
