Quiet tires
Will quiet or comfort tires improve the ride feel of the Yaris LB?

We recently bought a 2007 Yaris, and the tires were stock and had 40k on them. They made so much road noise,I was wondering if maybe the bearings were bad up front.I figured it was just the tires, we ordered some Harmony Michelins from Tire Rack.Lot less noise.Tire rack had a special on them, buy 4 and get $70 rebate or something.Pretty spendy tire though but so far really good wet, and hoping snow when the season changes.

I've had RT-615s forever. They're stiffer, and they feel better on the corners. But they're, stiff.

I went from a smoother riding '06 Civic coupe to my Yaris. I wanted an equally reliable fuel efficient car with a hatchback and the Yaris was the most comfortable for me. On long trips over coarse pavements it does wear on me. So I was wondering why the ride in the Yaris was so much stiffer? Maybe it's the tires. I drove my softer studless snow tires into a warm southern area and they were still noisy and coarse. It is reliable, great on gas and tolerable but if Honda decides to make a Civic lift back for the USA I'm getting one.
