rain ability is purely the tires (and alignment should be within spec)

some absolutely chew through puddles and
standing water, some are downright deadly.


look for a set of MS tires with contiguous circumferential grooves, these are great in highway rain
avoid MS tires that have tread blocks that interrupt the circumferential grooves.
