Not to mention the fact that the parts to make hybrid cars are shipped from around the globe to very few hybrid car factories, adding to the emissions problem.

If you really want to be "green", stop buying more cars and take good care of the one you have, which happens to be one of the most fuel efficient cars ever made.

Exactly! Health is wealth.

With the recent oil tragety and all the blame on BP and the evils of oil corporations... when you really think of it, we are the only ones to blame! Our dependency on oil is the problem, yet we say "green". What a hypocrisy! We take the easy way... the convenient way... the personal vehicle way. Buy, buy, and buy more! Take the "green" way... Demand public transporatation and most of all use it...

I imagine when the mass of people finally "get it" there'll be gillotines set up and long lines of gas guzzeling car owners will be forced to have their heads chopped off. They could have bought a Yaris but NOOOOOO.....!
