IMO if everyone owned a car that got 25mpg city and 30-35 mpgh we would be fine. It's these people who drive trucks and SUV's who go offroading once a year or they want to look cool. I think they should tax people based on where they live for the vehicle they are driving. like if you live in a city, you pay tax on a truck or suv or anything under a certian gas mileage.
